The truth about my hair (Part 2)

I'm always surprised when people approach me to ask about my hair, but it happens fairly often.
Who does your hair? What products do you use? Do you have a relaxer?

Here are the answers...

I haven't made a salon appointment in years. Yes, years. I randomly drop by Supercuts every other month for a $15 trim, and I cut my own bangs in between trims because they grow so fast.

I've changed up a few things since my last hair post, but the process is basically the same.
I apply Phyto Baobab Oil to my hair and scalp before washing my hair. I love this oil because it leaves my hair soft and moisturized. I leave the oil on my hair for up to an hour, then I wash and condition my hair with Herbal Essences Tea-Lightfully Clean shampoo and conditioner. Before blow-drying my hair, I apply a quarter-sized amount of Phyto Botanical Straightening Balm (formerly called Hair Relaxing Balm; the packaging and name have changed, but the ingredients are the same). I apply a dime-sized amount of Chi Silk Infusion before straightening my hair with a Chi Iron.

I don't have a relaxer. My last relaxer was more than four years ago. It severely damaged some of my hair, and I decided that day that I would never use a relaxer again. Turns out I didn't need it anyway...

Have a great day!
