Lady Lovely Locks
The Lady Lovely Locks cartoon series is probably one of the reasons why I can't let the colorful hair trend die. After seeing wildly colored tresses in magazines and on runways, I couldn't figure out why I loved this trend so much...then it all came back to me. I'm an 80's baby, a time when television screens were bombarded with female cartoon characters with brightly hued locks. The Lady Lovely Locks dolls came with little animals with colorful tails that clipped in their hair. I decided to take it up a notch and use Beyond the Zone hair dyes to achieve this look. The tips of my hair were already dyed platinum blonde before I applied more color. I divided my hair into ten sections and applied each color to each strand using upward brush strokes. This was a messy process, so I was unable to photograph the madness. But, hey, if you're brave and love to experiment, I do recommend trying this at home. Just look up ombre tutorials on Youtube. It doesn't hurt to try! ;) Have a wonderful week!

Very adventurous, very bold. Wish I had the gutts to do so. I'm conservative and I work in a conservative industry, finance. Fianance in NYC on Park Avenue. Yea, can't imagine that going over to well. I commend anyone who builds & walks their own path.
