DIY: (Easy) Floral Crown
I'm still in love with the floral crown trend, but the pieces that I want are too rich for my blood. I came across crowns like this and said what the heck, I can make one myself---so I did.
You can use any kind of headband to make your floral crown, but I chose to cut an elastic one in half and attached ribbons to the ends using fabric glue. I allowed the glue to dry for an entire day. I purchased five floral brooches from Jo-Ann's Fabric Store ($2.50 apiece or less).
Spread the brooches evenly along the headband, pin them into place and leave plenty of room at ends to tie.
And Voilà, there you have it! The world's easiest DIY floral crown costing about 14 bucks or less. I'll probably make a more exquisite crown in the future but, for now, this one will do.
