Tribal Nails

It's kind of a weekly routine to have my nails painted by my friend, Tawnie. She's very talented and doesn't fail to amaze me with each nail design. Tawnie used polish by Sally Hansen, Cherimoya and China Glaze. You can see her work on my blog posts here and here! Have a good week!

  1. Tawnie is quite the talent. Those nails are so intricate. I also love the soft, matte quality of the photos!

  2. does your friend use a nail dotting tool? I love the result of the tribal prints, I usually stick to sally hansen salon effects when I want pattern nails!

  3. HoneyLushy, to answer your question: yes, I do have a dotting tool that I purchased from Sally's years ago. But when I misplace it, which is often, I use the tip of a bobby pin (the little rubbery ball part on the end) or a ball point pen (which works fabulously!)Use whatever you can find to make the desired effect.

Andrew Evan, thank you so much for the compliment. It's easy to nurture my talent when I have great friends who encourage me and willingly let me experiment on them! And thank you so much for supporting my besties' blog. They are talented and remarkable women.
