Tory Burch Fall 2012 Lookbook

Tory Burch never disappoints. I received the Fall 2012 lookbook via mail a few weeks ago, and I have been staring at it every since. Her classic designs capitvated me long ago, and this fall collection is no exception. Gorgeous deep greens, navys, plums and reds flood the pages of this spectacular lookbook. I want every single item (of course!), but the one thing that I really don't want to live without is the Everly pump (third photo). How fabulous are these shoes?!

Nebula Nails

I am absolutely in love with the galaxy trend, so a friend and I decided to try our hand at the galaxy/nebula nail design. I must say that for first timers, these nails didn't turn out too bad. We used various colors of polish from brands such as China Glaze, NYC, Sally Hansen and Cherimoya. Glitter polish in all colors is really what makes this look work. Practice does make perfect because our second designs turned out better than the first. Cute Polish's nail tutorial came in handy in helping us execute this design, so try it out and tell me what you think :) I can't wait to rock this nail look in the fall ;)

Tribal

A couple of weeks ago, my cousin and I decided to make a trip to Charming Charlie to find new accessories. Let me tell you, we got lost in the sea of jewelry for about two hours. This store is a dream for all the fashionistas out there, and the color coded sections makes it easy to find what you're looking for. This summer I fell in love with all patterns and prints (especially the tribal theme), so these accessories go well with that aesthetic. So far I have paired these pieces with tribal print jumpsuits or rompers, but they will look great with maxi dresses as well.

Old + New

It has been so gloomy lately. I was pleasantly surprised when the sun actually peeked from behind the clouds for more than a couple of hours today, but thunder still rumbled in the distance as I was taking these photos. The forecast calls for rain, rain and more rain....which is especially frustrating when it is coupled with this extreme heat. It's like you're walking around in a sauna as the rain falls and steam rises from the hot pavement. Definately ready for an extended break from one or the other...or both.

I purchased this skirt last fall, and I am just now getting around to wearing it. I do that sometimes.
