Veronica Renay back in the day :) My mother didn't need much to look beautiful. She stuck to liner, mascara and lipstick. The funny thing is, you can find the same contents in my makeup bag. :)

Red, White and Blue

I love loose-fitting clothes, so this dress couldn't be more perfect. The top of the dress is slouchy and extends just below the waistline. It has great detail along the arms and shoulders, and the fabric folds into a bow along the front. The bottom of the dress falls over the legs like a slip and, best of all, it's so amazingly comfortable!

Birthday Nails

I just celebrated my birthday this month, and I wanted to rock a glamorous nail look :) I found these nail polish strips at Sephora, and I knew I hit the jackpot as soon as I saw them. They are easy to apply, long lasting and add an extra umph to any outfit.

While cleaning out my closet, I pulled out these awesome BCBG shoes. I haven't worn them in quite some time and, I almost forgot I owned them, but they still make me smile when I slip them onto my feet. I would normally wear these with a pencil skirt or sheath dress. I guess I haven't been wearing enough of those lately...

Valentine's Day Makeup

Here is a quick photo that I took of my Valentine's Day makeup. The majority of this look came from my BH Cosmetics palette. The key to this look is to use a light eye shadow base, pack tons of shadow on top and blend, blend, blend. I will have to take some tutorial photos soon ;)

"In the buff" nail polish by M.A.C goes with every outfit. I purchased this color a while back, but it never gets old and is still a nail trend :)
